Online Resources and Links
We also have a topic Online Resources on our forum that you should check out.
Find Music Online
- Jay Buckey Free Tablature
- This website has a long list of older sheetmusic by Jay Buckey. The list is in alphabetical order, so it's easy to find the song you're looking for.
- Institute of American Music
- This website goes along with the 50 Tunes book that several people in the group have. Go to
"Free Stuff" then "Free Songs/Tunes" to see some sample arrangements. We like to play Ookpik Waltz
and Tennessee Waltz from this page.
I'd encourage you to buy this book. It's great for playing together because it has the same songs in the same keys for all the instruments. If you don't have the money right now or want to look over the songs first, you can print a copy of the simple melody and chords by going to "Free Stuff" then "50 Tunes Guitar Notation." - All Tabs
- You will need a special program to view the songs at this website. Check out the site for more details.
